Based in Sweden, Maini Sorri has been composing music since the age of eight. She studied singing, piano, music theory, and composition, earning a Bachelor of Arts before embarking on a diverse recording career that has seen her perform in concerts, on Swedish television, and on radio.
Her extensive catalog includes eight albums, three EPs, and twenty-six singles, with Belief becoming the latest addition to an already impressive discography.
Maini’s music has reached audiences in many different ways throughout her career. Twelve of her songs were featured in the Hollywood Movipod musical Anna’s Angels, released in 2024. Her previous gospel single Show Me The Light and pop release Just Let Me Sing were produced at Sundown Sessions Studio in Nashville alongside Grammy and Juno Award-winning producers, musicians, and engineers who have worked with internationally renowned artists.
Her rock album Bring Me Home was co-produced by Grammy-nominated Brian Lanese and Orlando Mestre, while her single Lost Love became part of the soundtrack for the video game The Metronomicon: Slay the Dance Floor. She also collaborated with American rapper Magneto Dayo, whose single Blue Song remained on the National DRT Top Charts for eleven weeks in 2014.
Further recognizing her songwriting achievements, two of Maini’s compositions were included in Rock on Neon Radio’s Top 1000 Songs Of All Time, placing her work among the station’s highest-ranked selections from a catalog of approximately 50,000 songs.
